In this video, Amy Cuddy, an American social psychologist known for her research on stereotyping and discrimination, emotions, power, nonverbal behavior, and the effects of social stimuli on hormone levels, talks about new research that shows how you can “Power Pose” to boost your self-confidence and increase the likelihood you'll get noticed.

Watch it now! (it's really good)

So, ever tried that?

Let me know in the comments below!

I have, and although you can never know how a meeting would have went without it, I can tell you it increases my self-confidence and has returned very positive outcomes for me!

  1. I just watched this video Thursday. It is so amazing how a confident posture, a fake smile, or any number of positive body gestures can chemical change our body’s and alter how we approach a situation. Great stuff!

  2. When making a speech or talking seriously, the person puts his index finger and thumb together, palm forward and the three other fingers pointing up mean. It’s not an ok sign.
